Thomaston is the
county seat of Upson County. Two other small communities in
Upson County have post offices and zip codes. Yatesville,
Georgia is a small incorporated city located in the eastern edge
of Upson County. The Rock, Georgia is an unincorporated
community in the north east part of the county. There are many
other communities scattered throughout the county that retain
names from long ago.
